Massage – Relax and Repair through movement

As a human, all of your experiences happen through your physical body.

Massage helps keep your body in the best possible state to relax, to repair and to restore. Massage helps your body create the right internal environment for healing whether from injury, overuse or poor posture. It sets the stage for repair by enhancing your body’s own natural recovery responses.

Massage is also a beautiful way to help your nervous system relax, taking you to profound levels of relaxation and inner quiet, allowing the soul to restore and the spirit to reset.

Both Yoga and Massage have powerful and positive effects on the hormones and your endocrine system, which is particularly important when going through times of hormonal change such as the menopause.

Sports massage therapy has a variety of specialised techniques that enable deep muscular and fascial work, that can be highly targeted to support specific issues.

To deepen your experience, you can take combinations of massage and yoga, massage and breathwork or all three in a session personalised to meet your individual needs and requirements.

Please note that I use freshly laundered (using non-bio detergent) table covers and towels for all massages.
